Sorry Juan, ordinarily I agree with everything you post, but I don't think you've read enough of SJ's posts.

Number one: SJ is no sheep man. SHE is a cattle rancher and her family has been very involved in politics for generations, having been elected to various local and state offices. Her whole family has consistently endeavored to improve the lives of their constituents, and most of us who know them are thankful for doing their level best to benefit the community.

Here I will agree with you. I too think that SH is dedicated to his job. Now, you've probably noticed that he and I don't agree on the GF&P trespass issue and never will. That doesn't make him a bad man any more than it makes SJ a bad woman for standing up for private property rights and defending our very able aerial coyote hunter who was definitely mistreated by GF&P and their cohorts.

Come on up and you can have all the coyotes and fox you can catch. We are sheep and cattle producers and the coyotes are giving us fits, thanks in large part to the grounding of our aerial hunter. The fact that we are next to the ND/SD border and coyotes drift south in great numbers doesn't help either. Maybe you can get SH to come with you and live trap some. Stop at the ranch when you do – the coffee is always on.

Wouldn't you say them(JC and AS) saying they( JC and AS) never went to FAA, That FAA came to them(JC and AS) [FAA never came to them(JC and AS) ] and they(JC and AS) had absolutely nothing to do with the para plane issue is a cork and bull story?

Probably in the whole realm of things it is pretty irrelevant but at the time it must have been pretty important to them (JC and AS).

I suppose the hunter that had tags for a doe and buck and tagged them wrong thought it was pretty irrelevant at the time also. I guess it just depends who it happens to as to whether it is relevant or not.

You should know, GF&P works on that presumption when it comes to the landowners and hunters.

SH-Why is your livestock losses to predators so high? I thought JJ was taking care of your needs???

Where did you get this? They are not high we have real good predator control.

SH-Of course you are going to hear this at an "I HAVE AN AXE TO GRIND WITH GF&P" meeting. Did you expect them to actually say something nice? A lot of the biggest complainers I know have been arrested for game violations. Naturally they want to complain about GF&P.

Maybe you ought to go to one before you presume them all GUILTY of an axe to grind.

SH-I guess you should thank your lucky stars that I'm not in charge of GF&P because I wouldn't cater to the radical few unless they came forward with names, dates and times to back their complaints. I don't have any time for "thumbsuckers" that just want to complain. If a complaint is legitimate, I'll address it. If someone is just complaining and doesn't know what they are talking about, I'm going to set them straight. I don't lick anyone's boots.

People have come with date , names and times written and verbally NOTHING IS EVER DONE. We don't have much use for THUMBSUCKERS either.


Conspiracy, I don't know of one. I disagree with some of GF&P's policies and its employees actions or what I consider as a abuse of power. As far as I know they are good people. A difference of opinion does not make either party a bad person.

All of our freedoms have not been taken away yet and freedom is choices. SH has his opinion and I have mine.



To the others ( soapweed and Juan) my grandchildren do run 100 head of sheep on the place and we used to run between 700 to 1000 head. We had great predator control but when our kids left we sold the sheep.

Do I shoot everything that moves --- don't even own a gun personally and have only shot one 10 times maybe. I think the critters are pretty safe. Do I want to rid the land of all wildlife NO. I do feel I have a right to privacy and don't feel hunting should violate my right to privacy. Since it does my land is closed to hunting.


Property rights are very important to me and worth fighting for. I don't care if you want to give your property rights away but make it your choice NOT LAW.
