First try at Pics

Northern Rancher, thanks for posting the pictures. It's nice to see the country in your neck of the woods. That cute little Prankster calf looks plumb harmless at the moment, but I'll bet he'll have lots of joy juice in his gizzard when he gets tried out in the arena as a bucker. Hope the bull fighter can outrun and outdodge him. Good luck. Keep the pics a comin'.

Here's his Daddy-he's super hooky tore the dummy apart last out lol.

Hey now, Haymaker, none of that! You're judging NR when you see him in his working duds. Let me tell you, I've met NR when he was all gussied up and he's a fine looking man, and very nice also.

i've always heard Hard Twist and some Blue roan line were a "little" bucky but had a lot of bottom and cow--your stallion related? wish i could remember the roan name, but i'm getin' too old....

what IS that roan stallion....????? you guys'll know...

Are you thinking of the Blue Valentine horses?

Hancock horses were a little broncy

Shelley you don't how good it makes me feel that you liked what you saw and Haymaker didn't-I really don't want the 'YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS' thinking I'm attractive.

OK boys tell me how this horse is bred-one of the best cow ponies I've ever seen in action-cool as a cucumber in some sticky spots and you can't tire him out-if Silver is from northern B.C. he might get it.

I wouldn't want to guess as to that horses breeding, but I have seen lots of big, strong looking buggers like that in the mountains around here.

NR- Looks like a little draft breeding- Percheron or Belgian maybe?

Before the invent of horse trailers and when horses actually had to travel lots of miles sometimes just to get to work- lots of our horses looked that way...Thouroughbred stud bred to a bunch of part draft mares- made a tough stout horse........Made good rodeo stock too!!
