getting wrote bad checks questions

Wow.... so glad it turned out well.

Here in MO, couldn't you have taken it to the prosecuting attorney in your county? They usually handle that stuff, give them x amount of days to pay it and if its not paid then the prosecuting attorney files charges against the bad check writer.

I'm not sure? I was still gathering ammo when I got paid. I knew the best and fastest way I was going to be paid was just from them themselves.....so I became a huge pest....luckily that worked....I was completely honest to them and never got mad....it was hard! In the mean time though, I posted this on here and was gathering all the info I could. I only made a few calls....to banks and the Dept. of Ag. I didn't want to call any higher than that quite yet so soon, but was about to. So I didn't get into it very far. Even just going as far as I did, everyone was already aware of the situation and basically just said they wish me luck, it doesn't look good. I'm very glad it worked out the way it did!

They are, but people are in the works to try and shut it down. I believe there has been a couple court deals here lately and another coming up in Dec.
