We have had some cattle over in the foothills this summer. I was going to get them out Friday after a blizzard on Thursday. The sun came out, and after we had them gathered and loaded, it was pretty muddy. I had to load on a slope, and even with chains, there was no moving that load out of its tracks. I unloaded the cattle, dropped the trailer. We dry lotted the cattle over night, and got up at 4 to be back up there by 6. The mud was frozen, and the cattle reloaded and hauled out without slipping a tire. Friday we were doing the right thing at the wrong time. Saturday the right thing at the right time and met with success. When scriptures admonish us to "wait on the Lord" perhaps the Lord is telling us that timing is important in our service to Him. The right thing at the wrong time is still wrong. We must do the right thing at the right time. We cannot accomplish that without fervently seeking His face on a daily basis. I know this, but why must I struggle so to get 'er done? Have a good Sunday mornin', and a great rest of the week too.
