To be an expert rancher you need to be able to recognize them in the dark by feel. :-)

I had a explorer once, but it had cup holders

Cup holders aren't much good for offroading--spill too much. You need to hold your drink in one and and steer with the other. If you're good, you never spill a drop!! :)

-20 here this morning as the sun tries to peak over the horizon...In talking with some neighbors it sounds like my part of the valley is the warm spot as many of them are around -30...

No wind tho- Yet...

Of course! Particularly important in loooong, dark Canadian winters with all the layers. . . . . .

If I had to live up there where it's that cold.......there wouldn't be no "brand inspection" until the snow melts.

Cuz......hands can get cold....and who wants "freeze branded" on top of a general inspection. LOL

This is another good example of why womenfolk should only be granted some type of provisional driver's license. Of course, their driving privileges should include:

1. To and from work.

2. To and from the grocery store.

3. To and from the parts house during hay season.

4. Anything else approved by the man of the place.

I'm sure glad you're okay, though.

Ok...so heres the story:heading into Edmonton for my little nephews Bday. Weather was calm when I left, son was meeting me in Camrose to drive rest of way with him. About 15 miles out of Camrose, felt like a wind gust took my truck across the centre line,I went to pull it back and the black ice underneath didn't agree, three nice loops on the hwy,hit the edge of the ditch, couple nice air rolls, poof into really deep snowback in a pretty deep ditch, upside down no less.Really no time to think except for a quick prayer when I hit the edge of the ditch and knew there wasn't going to be any pulling out of it.

This is NOT how you ice fish Mairi. I think you need some guidance. I don't think you'd find many fish in an Alberta ditch anyway.  :P
