it's a four mile wide study..the actual road is supposedly a 16 lane highway. which just means they are lookin at all the possible routes thru that 4 mile wide strip.
Fair market value is in the eye of the beholder. as we all can tell by the people coming in paying upwards of 10,000.00 an acre for land that appraises for 1200.00 on the tax rolls. but that's beside the point...I dont wanna sell...to anyone..a road developer, the state of texas, joe blow, no one. This place aint fer sale.
we only have 300 acres so how much would a 1/4 mile wide stretch leave us with??? Our place is already divided by a small farm to market road and a railroad. That's bad enuff to deal with.
