gcreek, i'm afraid it's to late buddy. any advice i could give you, would be useless at this point. you are now a goat herder, there is just no way around it. you have to remember...if you drive a semi one time, no one will ever call you a truck driver. BUT, you buy one nanny goat, you'll be called a goat herder the rest of your life....just like H.  :D

Like HELL!!!!!! Serenity now......Serenity now...... ommmmmmmmm. Just so we are all absolutely clear, Justin owned goats way after I was goatless.

I would also have it clear that you guys each had TWO goats.

So the point you are making is kinda like saying "just a little bit pregnant"?

for the record, my goat herd is currenty up to around 6 or 7 head. they only reason i am builing the herd is beacause i heard they will sell better if i have a whole load of them. so as soon as i have enough to fill a pot load, these little devils are outa here. :? :D

I understand the whole whate ever a bunch of goats are that they will kid out in the worst week of weather if you kid early

Yeah, you got it. I am now researching freight possibilities to the Big Muddy Valley. I do have bull delivery connections so anything is possible.

Now Gcreek, what excuse would you have used to buy a goat if them sheep hadn't been in on the deal?? Just for the record I have never owned either one! And, NO I ain't in the market either!

Answer me this slick..... Who owns a goat now? Justin and I have repented and vowed to never repeat our sins. You, on the other hand have started swiftly down the slippery slopes toward trouble. Sinner! :tiphat:  :dunce:

But I didn't buy this goat. It just came along for the ride because the lady said it needed to go to a good home.
So...... I started thinking that in order to make any money on the sheep the goat will have to come too.
Then... I thought that a good home for a goat was in the digestive system of a taxi driver's family. :D

Time I'm done with this deal I'll have a new set of tires for the ol' 7400. :D

sorry, that was my mistake..... it doesn't matter if you buy the goat, the goat is a gift, or it stumbles on to your place like a stray cat.

your first mistake was accepting the goat in the sheep deal. your second mistake was telling us about it. :D :D

:agree:

we all laugh at gceek's predicament but a herd of goats on the east side of calgary is a very valuable commodity
Ya, don't tell gcreek but we have given thought to a herd of goats for brush control and serving the Marlborough and Sunridge back alley trade. :gag: If it happens I will be sure not to let anyone here know. 8)
