Pole Cat, not the stinky kind

I had a big kitty around the ranch last year that I saw quite often, including once at about 10 Feet.:shock:

From the Valley Courier Newspaper this morning.
A sharp shooting San Luis Valley resident caught this mountain lion (with her camera lens) on an electric pole at Highway 285 and the 11 Mile on Tuesday. The lion finally became tired of the gathering paparazzi and ran off into nearby fields.

Kind of looks like the kitty could be a grump if antagonized. :shock:

I agree-- seems like every year or two we get some good fires started by a coon climbing a pole and zapping himself-- or an eagle..

Bull snakes have caused power outages here a couple of times.

It seems they are looking for bird eggs.

That cat aint long for this world if he has a habit of climbin hi line poles,once he gets those ears and that long tail phase to phase with that 1308/26000,all that will be left is burnt fur.
