Say Dag, www.ScoringAg.com offers paper records if you don't have a computer and it does records from Field to Fork. here is the lastest news from the ScoringAg software company.
Dear Members and new members,
As you know we just added a new soil test location records to our database. Users enjoy the possibility to enter the data now in the winter time when no one is busy working out in the fields. Having the data ready before the next planting time saves time and money when working with your ag consultant.
At the same time we received our patent pending application for our database System and method for site-specific electronic record keeping, 2 more companies offering databases for a type of cattle tracing left the market:
2/9/2007 The U.S. Animal Identification Organization database has been suspended for lack of interest and financing, said the group's chairman Charles Miller. The original idea for the USAIO came from the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.
Feb 14 (Reuters) - EMerge Interactive Inc. said it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and terminated a merger agreement with Prime BioSolutions LLC. They have to sell off assets within 45days.

Too bad these companies didn't have ScoringAg traceback system. There is no excuse for 288 sick people and uncounted cats. As the FDA is involved now it gets costly for these companies. Talk to your customers to set up ScoringAg traceback system for their products before they get in trouble too.

ScoringAg participated very successfully in a pilot project with WILC Wisconsin Livestock Consortium for a veal traceback system from birth to slaughter. All 488 calves could be read with the new I.D.ology reader direct into ScoringAg database at the veal farm. 2 Eartags failed to read. The time used was only 45 minutes. They were shipped on Sunday evening with temperatures below zero. The records were move to trucking and after a long ride to South Chicago, the records were moved out to the packer, and then were moved in their ScoringAg database with 100% success. The system includes carcass grading and weights.
ScoringAg proves again the database works at the speed of commerce.
No stockyard or feedlot can use a system that's less then 100%.
We have good news from the Secretary of Agriculture Kevin Kirk, State of Michigan:
ScoringAg's database will be participating in the Michigan Mandatory ID System. Because of the TB problem in Michigan all cattle movements have to be recorded and reported. The RFID tag number and premise code with date and time is needed by the Michigan department of agriculture.
In ScoringAg database RFID Tags can be entered manually or electronically (batch uploads).
With I.D.ology's new reader you'll get a 100% read of the RFID tags and an automatic upload into our web based account.
• ScoringAg.com compliments and automates electronic individual animal record-keeping (cow/calf,dairy, stocker, feedlot,breeding)
• ScoringAg.com satisfies requirements for unique identification needed for age and process verification programs too.
An TCPIP exporting tool for the customer allows sending the encrypted data to the State of Michigan database for RFIDtag no. premises code and date and time stamp of bovine movements to stop TB.Also another new import tool will let FarmWorks software owners upload data into ScoringAg for the FDA Bioterrorism Law.
