Ty made the LRA finals by the skin of his teeth-he missed a bunch of rodeo in that association while riding Novice Pro. The finals are in St. Paul, Alberta 9/02-5 and are a real good time so hopefully all goes well. Trying to make CCA finals now too but only has 8 rodeos left-got a bit of a screwing on Friday or he'd be close.

That's great NR. Just goes to show what hard work and lack of sense will do for ya. Seriously though, I'm happy to hear that he is doing good. I saw Chet Johnson at church on Sunday. Apparently he got kicked in the side of the head about 3 weeks ago, but thank goodness he's doing pretty good now. It always seemed like us bullriders had goofy looks on our faces from being adled too much, but the bronc riders always had lumpy heads.

He split 4th in Kikino-the eliminator pen and contractor pen at the LRA finals are pretty juicy so it should be good. Chet had a rough Calgary too-take more than a fractured skull to keep him from smiling. Ty has made the finals in bareback this is his first go in Saddle Bronc.
