first let me say i have been a long time reader> im very new to cows and have lots to learn. i have had my cows for a year now im trying to build my heard when the money is there. i had 2 cows ai yesterday by my vet with a bull from select sires his name is rockin horse tailor made. has anybody here used him if so can you tell me about his calfs. i looked him up on line but dont know how to read the numbers or what they mean.

bull...HA Imagemaker (though I don't like that
bull personally, he is an calving ease bull).
90 BW ratio, means he's 10% under average on birthweight.

I understand the numbers....apparently this person DON'T.

Seems you have a problem with plain speaking....


You don't know your numbers and breed something wrong....you got a dead cow and calf.

I've said it before here.....don't get into ANYTHING until you understand and know at least some basics.


But, hell....want to kill a cow with a HUGE calf....go ahead.

Learning on the run can get kinda expensive....

easy calving bull. It isn't like this is some terrible BW bull,
so lets give a little credit here, someone did their job. You
have to start someplace. Doesn't look to me like any mistakes
were made.
