We had an EXt yearling throw such a fit last wek he laid down and died-faint hearted little dink. Anyway I'm trying a Texas venison recipe on the backstrap tonight hopefully it takes out the wild taste. Were down to less than ten of the evil ones.

Is this the recipie you used?
IF so its awesome

2 Cups Of Fresh Cold Liquid Buttermilk
1/4 Cup Of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Of Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
3 Large Fresh Minced Garlic Cloves
1 Teaspoon Of Ground Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Of Ground Onion Powder
1 Small Diced Vidalia Onion
1 Teaspoon Of Coarse Ground Celtic Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Of Ground White Pepper

Mix together and let flavors blend for 2 hours in the refrigerator then put
steaks in and cover and keep in the refidgerator for 8 hours.
