Guys I set here and read your notes day after day same thing nothing happens. We need to finally get together .Every organization every farmer and once and for all price out product.Every other business in this country does.Surely we aren't that stupid that we think this is okay .Just think of any thing that you buy that you can tell them what you will pay .
Hope every one wakes up before its to late for our next generation.
Thanks

Charlie, I agree with you and am just as frustrated. The model for protein production has been laid down by poultry, lead by Tyson. You have to be a vertically integrated industry to compete with a vertically integrated industry. The reason...in poultry, there is one entity taking the risk and making the profit, the parent company. In beef, if producers are going to remain profitable, we have to become that entity for at least half of beef's market share. Three multi-protein processors doing the exact same things in a tight margin industry aren't going to offer competitively different prices for live cattle. By owning the raw product and selling the finished product, we, beef producer, will be at a competitive advantage! :D
