Sorry shooting a person for trespass went out years ago there wild bill. Texas is the worst state for hunters unless you have your own ground or want to pay. May your wild hog populationkeep growing good day!

Happy: LB you talk the talk, but you wouldn't stand up to the legal walk and if it where me and my attorney, I would counter sue for fees due to frivolous law suit seeings how your state has already decided this issue 2 times prior. Oh not to mention you can't go to court if the states attorney doesn't want to prosecute . You could file a civil suit but that is it if your states attorney says No! end of trespass issue.

You and your lock out talk funny What every time you disagree with a sportsman, considering your views towards hunters and please don't make me copy/paste grandpas words LOL, you threaten more acres in your infamous SD lock out! It's a factual bust and getting weaker with the passing days as some have told me who live in your state. Seems this is all in a small area of the state and has little backing East of your Big river and add the fact that No one has a clear concise message to send from it makes it a factual non issue LB so give it a break. If threats where worth a .01 each you would be a millionaire LOL.

If you learned to work with people and user groups and not against them overwhelmingly you would find more success in your endeavours for sure!

Because hunters have a voice and the law on their sides in some issues you want to berate us why? It is the law that dictates the outcome not you or I. Don't like the laws then work to get them changed, but don't think you are above or can circumvent them because you or I can not.

There is no jury in the land that would hold any landowner liable for the retrieving of game that was because of a state law!!! Some would like to use this as an excuse to make it look like a poorly laid out law, just no the facts!

I would be more worried about the landowner who is pay to hunt and doesn't have a tax ID or let their insurance company know of these practices taking place on their farm/ranch and have a paid customer get hurt then your in deep trouble! You may just loose it all for a few thousand dollars a year!

Oldtimer would you except the law if they where mandated to ask first and then told NO, they still had the legal right to retrieve? Yes or No?

Happy, for someone who doesn't live in this state and obviously knows nothing about ranching or our way of life, you sure waste a lot of words telling us nothing.

I do appreciate the way you, Southdakotahunter, publichunter, and P Joe have enlightened the ranchers on this board. Some of us had no idea that folks with your mentality even existed. And we sure didn't realize that these are some of the people we had been letting hunt our ranches for free!

Please keep posting. This rhetoric does more to defeat your cause than anything else you could do.

Sounds to me Happy might of hit a soft spot there ole LB, Not much to say????

I for one have never hunted near any of you, and after seeing your attitudes, am glad I haven't and probably will never do so. You'll chase every decent hunter out of the country and then be left with a million deer prancing around the ole homeplace, only to turn and beg GF&P to do something!!!

It's already happening with antelope. Another mild winter or 2 and their numbers will be overwelming! :D

You make grandpas point which is 100% anti hunting and then tell us all if it weren't for your GFP why you would be the first to open your doors. Keep using the "lock out" as your leverage for change, that is obvious the majority do not want or you would have your way! The lock out has done what explain in detail please!

Make threats because you have no legal background to make them a promise. Then state: It is because of people like others and myself that have a voice and factual info, that hunters aren't welcome in your parts. Yet I don't think a one of us have trouble finding places to hunt, because the majority don't agree with your strong arm tactics of change, that a small minority want!!!! LB you want yes men around you and if they are not then by god you want to make them pay! We started off awhile back being civil at the beginning, then when I took it to a factual level and you had nothing to back your claims, you went on the attack and you do so every time you have nothing factual to base your writings on!

You see I have little problem finding places to hunt because I respect the people I hunt on, I do them a service because I shoot does, I take care of their predators when trapping/calling, and I'll help them out if asked. Respect is a 2 way street and you shown no one on here that, except your small group of head nodders!

You ramble on and make comments on many issues, we all have a right to an opinion, but a majority of the time you could back them with facts, without facts we just all walk around in circles, wasting key strokes.

As far as hunting your ground I wouldn't want to, I enjoy hunting on places that I can make friendships and respect is given, you and I are like oil/water we would never mix LB. It isn't about killing the biggest horns LB, I would take no enjoyment from hunting your property because there is no respect on either side at this point! I love a good debate and that is a change of ideas that have factual basis, you bring things in from your mind and try to mold them to fit your needs LB, it doesn't matter if you can back it with facts or not as your ready to pounce and proclaim those as something their not becuase they disagree with you and have facts to back it up.
