Vancouver Canucks "Stanley Cup Champions"

Congrats to the Avs and the Flames, My Wild had a good showing this year so we will look forward to next season. As for this year I have to cheer for the old MN team that moved to Dallas, and of coarse the wings. What happened with Boston they are playing like a top seeded team. Flames fans good luck in game 7 should be a dandy game. Shawn

The habs let off the gas but the bears weren't going to roll ovew and die. So price picked up his game as did the rest of the team they dominated tonight and they are pretty young . It bodes well for their future. We will see how price hold up as the playoffs progress just think about this this he is 20. How good will he be in the future he is a kids who can step up like a vet when the game is on the line. That is the good thing about the major Jr. leagues in canada these guys develope under pressure and are prepared to be instantly thrown to the wolves. Hope big boo watches some tape of La raque and decides to follow his example and become more than a one dimensional player. Gaborik needed this for his development to see how badly old vets like sakic want it and what he is willing to do to win. Best luck next year WILD.

Good game tonight, good luck next year FLAMES.

Shawn what game did you watch it was horrible. The flames lost. That second period was a wreck . Oh well next year country much like faming and ranching. i hate to say it but i think the stars might be the western conference team this year. At least the habs are still in it.

Hard Work will beat talent unless talent works hard. I was itching to get down there and coach tonight. I've seen some brutal faceoff plays with the goalie out in these playoffs.

It was nice to see the old horses step up to the plate-the interview with Jeremy Roenicks little boy was priceless after the game. I imgine there will be quite a rush to jump on the Patrick Marleau/Joe Thornton bandwagon-enough jumped off it this season. When you can roll four lines and be effectice like the Sharks did you'll always beat a team that's short benching. Iginla and Phaneuff drained their tank that's for sure.

I am still not a marleau/thorton fan. Never liked roenick but he is finally losing some of the attitude from his younger days. The sharks had a second line going all game and the flames didn't. Ericson(sp) had a rough game for the flames why they didn't put in old warriner in i don't know as he always is a steadying influence. Ten min in the second they needed that vet experience to calm the young guys down. Vandemere took ericson's spot, another good d-man coming up for flames. The flames need to get rid of the passengers. There is plenty of time for hindsight the flames lost end of story. Good for the old war horses to step up eveyone wrote off Nolan too. I'd still like to see the av's come out of the west with all the guys they got back this year. Oh well we will see what happens.

The pens up 2-0, Avery tried to stir the pot and send a message at the end of the game. But when he yapped he didn't expect Hal Gill to drop his mits and come at him and when he tried to hide he found George Laraque ready to throw so he turtled, that will really help send a message. He can't be an idiot like he was against NJ. I wonder how many teeth he is willing to give up to stir the pot in this series?
Habs tied at 1, but i think the flyers should maybe be up a game or 2 before they start talking smack.
