Vancouver Canucks "Stanley Cup Champions"

It was the longest 60 minutes I have had to endure for a long time. My wild started out looking flat , Then a couple of bad calls a couple of goals and the frustration got the best of them it was embarrasing. Lots of scraps no knockdown drag out fights. the wild totaled 111 minutes of penalty time. it was unbelivable! Foote saw he could get under there skin and away it went. Boogie man had 2 10 minute majors, at the end of the game foote had some choice words as he was going off the ice for boogie, boogie was going bananas. I hope they forget about it and come home and start playing hockey again, but they have three guys that I do not think are gonna forget and all hell is gonna break out in st.paul. boy I hope not. I saw the highlights of sj and calgery, tough loss. Shawn

Shawn...I think I tuned into a fight and a hockey game broke out last night. There was a point in the second period when I wondered if the Wild would have anyone left to skate. My Avs behavior wasn't much better...they just took advantage of getting under your players skin.

For as disappointed as you were, I bet my Mom was going bananas. She has been a bit down on her favorite team, but I'm sure they're the best thing since sliced bread this morning! :D

Should be an interesting game 5.

Are you guys getting rain this morning?

Cheers---

TTB

I missed all of that game-was busy watching Ovechkin not show up against Philadelphia then I watched the Flames/Sharks tilt. I really liked the look of relief on Joe Thornton's face when he finally found some twine. Iginla is just playing great as usual. Booguard is huge but pound for pound not that great a fighter even our local Meadow Lake boy in St. Louis gave him a couple good tilts. Those s...shows happen every once in awhile-just think were only in the first round lol. Hey Shawn your mulligan player is looking pretty good. I think Emily is leading our draft up here.

Shawn-Did Ol"Foote go with Boog or just stand there and grin. Foote doesn't go much when not needed but when he has gone he can really throw. Let Boog run JT and see what happens. Boog is big but if he wants to stay up he has to get better at skating and maybe learn how to deflect pucks put him in from of the net or have someone teach him how to carry the puck along the boards. Just have him watch tape of La roque and learn. There is potential there but he has to get it into his head there is more than running guys and dropping the mits. The days of the pure goon are gone they have to be able to contribute in other ways as well.

He picked Foote up by the throat and stuck him on top of the boards. Foote was talking sh** the whole time, but was looking very uncomfortable. I hope they will put it behind them and not self destruct. Shawn

The player that is looking pretty good is your gaoltender pick, that kid is showing alot of mental toughness and maturity. there has been alot of no shows in the super star department across the whole 1st round. Boogie is to big to be a good fighter, he just has alot of mass. Well cory I thought I had matured in my old age of 39, but I was pretty jacked up last night. The last time I was that pizzed was 1998 when the vikings lost to the falcons, I threw the tv out in the front lawn. it was the 1st year the mrs. and were married, I am sure she was wondering what she got herself into. LOL snow is gone here and been shedhunting I will pm some pics. Shawn

Didn't get a chance to watch hockey last night but I gather Shawn and I didn't do so well.Media rumour here in Alta. BIG fight between Iginla and Flames managment Tues evening.

Flames Fan?

I wish this hockey stuff would hurry up and get over....I hurried home so I could watch the NILE PBR- and found it doesn't come on until 10:30 PM because of Hockey   :(

Sorry to see the wild gone but JT was playing well and goaltending and injuries held back the avs from finishing higher in the reg. season. Flames play later today what chnges are coming for tonights game ? I'd like to see old Rhett Warrener get in for a game, and maybe even Dustin Boyd. The question is who to sit? Maybe Hale and Primeau? I wonder how short chain Kipper will be on? The other side of my all canadian cup final will play tomorrow the Habs go to game seven with boston.

Flames Win :cowboy: :tiphat: Game 7 ought to be a good one. The flames sat goddard. They won !! Just imagine if they got scoring from Conroy, Lombardi and Hussaileus. Good to see a written off player like Nolan doing so well i guess he gets the hardhat. Vandemere did Ok on the wing for a d-man. Wings won as well, when Calgary finishes off the sharks they are next. :D .

We'll see how they do in SJ but i think win is the word . They have been getting better the last 2 games, the series should already be over but when they continue in SJ it is motor city next.
