What fun!

Thanks for the pics, WR. When I first looked at the pic of the overpass, the way the pic was shaded I thought the Oregon sign had a giant roll of toilet paper on it :!: Then I saw the wheels of the covered wagon.

Does the wire basket full of rocks give you potential fencing ideas you might be able to use at home? :P

Yep, I think I can come up with enough rocks  . Today I rebuilt braces, and ran into a really bad rock on one post. That brace didn't end up being too pretty, but it should be effective . I'm trying to get all the ones dug I can't get to with the post hole digger WHILE the ground is still soft  :D . Maybe I'll try the rock brace on the ones I want to rebuild tomorrow.

I had to go to Idaho today to pick up chukars, so I made sure to look at the sign on my way back...in real life it does not look like a roll of toilet paper 8)

Our rocks come in ALL sizes!!!

I meant the cages are bigger around not the rocks.

We probably should be careful about posting pics of rocks in cages on ranchers.net. It might draw the attention of some militant rock rights group. For the record, all rocks on my place are raised with organic and cruelty-free methods. I don't raise my rocks in cages or feed them antibiotics. The rocks are free to roam about as free range rocks do.

What are you?

Some kind of rock hugger :!:

BMR, I must say my rock hugger methods have been proven to work. There is not a rock on my place that has ever bitten or kicked anyone. Only with clear provocation has any of my rocks charged anyone.

I have one rock in particular I'm quite proud of. This rock is about the size of a pickup and spends the vast majority of its time in the corner of the pasture. It is a gentle giant. In fact I bet you could walk right up to this rock in the pasture and pet it.  :P 8)
