What is really sad is that bleeding heart Liberals, who might know nine languages but lack good genuine common sense, are advisors and consultants in powerful government positions.

You're absolutely right. I see no radical righwingers on here. Only concerned American citizens with Conservative values. Maybe you're forgotten what that means. It doesn't automatically imply "radical". On the other hand I see few if any liberals who are not radical in their beliefs. Just look at what's important to them and you too may see it. During your socalled "working life" what was your opinon of queers, lesbos, addicts, drunks, native americans and blacks?? I can hear the boot heel cracking ribs right now in the "interrogation" center.

See thats the difference between you and me- you think first off of having to be physical and use violence- and I thought first of how to outsmart them and use communication to accomplish the task...

FH what is sad is that you- like many others- wouldn't listen to a lady that posted on here that had spent years and years actually "living" in the region-- and spoke 8 languages (I think she told me the other day she is now certified fluent in 9) - and that travels the world over as a private advisor/consultant to our government (Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations) along with many other folks... A knowledge of how all these countries fit together and relate to each other that few other people know...

I would say that what we are currently experiencing in this country is due to Liberals having their way for too many years. We should have stood up to them long ago. "Education and knowledge" taught by liberal professors doesn't amount to a lot of positive things for this country. Common sense isn't so COMMON any longer.

Seems to me there is usually someone with money backing these libs. Those
people have an adjenda that sells us out. They have broken the back of industry in this country. If the libs have their way, your grandkids won't even know the America that we knew. It's almost that bad already. Too many rules and REGULATIONS are choking us. We have to compete with countries with our hands tied behind our backs. They can pollute all they want, but one country has the weight of it --the USA. This already is not the country my father grew up in. I want less government not more. I want the right to
suceed or fail. Socialism might sound good in theory but it just does not work. I posted an article about the movie 2016. You might want to read what that writer has to say.

I hear conservatives whine constantly about all the media, all the journalists, all the government advisors, all the teachers, all the professors, all the scientists being Liberals-- but have never heard why that is :???: Except for the fact that the right wing- and especially the radical right like to accuse anyone that doesn't think their way or the way they want things to be (even if all science says the opposite) of being leftist Liberals as an excuse... :roll:

seen them on the news? ..

they all have one thing in common (other then a need of a bath).. to much education and to much time on their hands..

.....In keeping with the narrow scope (and narrowmindedness) of your question, I tried, abeit breifly, to find any incidence of this occuring. I actually couldn't find any documentation of the murder of a Muslim by a Christian, in the name of Christianity. I'm sure there has been such an incidence somewhere, sometime in the past 50 years. On the other hand, there are copious amounts of documentation of Muslims murdering Christians in the name of Islam. So many of them in fact, that one might want to weep.

You are positing the notion that it's okay for Muslims to murder innocents in the name of Islam and for the sake of religious fidelity because of the "youth" of their religion??? And that because Christians 400 years ago said they were persecuting innocents in the name Christianity, it's perfectly oaky with you that Muslims to the same today. Is that how you really feel???, or is this just another attempt to inflame those with whom you disagree and you feel have perpetrated some wrong against you.

Isabella was motivated to the Inquisition based on a psychotic and delusional rage against her brother for his perversions, which she turned on the people of her own kingdom after dispatching said brother.
The Al Saud was motivated to enforce Wahhabism, (a psychotic and delusional form of Islam that wants to stamp out all that they percieve as perverse) out of a desire rule over all of Arabia.
The inquisition mostly died with Isabella.

OT when Christianity was 1400 years old most of the people of the world were still considered barbarians. Killing was really rather commonplace. Heck almost all still thought the world was flat and had no idea what gravity was and most disease and death was caused by a person being posesssed by evil spirits. Most of the clergy could read but were not highly educated. Very few of the commoners could even read or write. The Crusades were an honorable mission but did have a number of participants who used them to gain fame and wealth at the expense of others. The Inquisition.....all I can tell you is that you need to not believe all you hear about it but do some actual research and see just how few people were affected, keeping in mind thta there was both a civil inquisition as well as a church inquisition and many flocked to the Inquistion of the Church to escape that of the government.

This is the 21st century. No matter the age of Islam, there is no excuse to see everything non islamic as heresy and subject to death. Historically Arabs have been cowards looking for an easy buck, trusting noone and willing to stick a knife in the back of anyone...even a father or brother. Nothing has changed. Even a illiterate camel herder claimed to write a book and they all follow blindly...if not blindly then forcefully or killed. You tell me, Is it a religion of "Peace and Love"??

Not really.. I just use it to point out to all those rightwingnuts that now believe we should commit genocide on all Muslims because of some bad sects of the religion-- that the same principle could have been cast upon all Christians over the generations because of some bad Christian sects too...

A new survey reveals the dramatically changing face of religion in America, with the number of Muslims in the U.S. soaring 67% in the decade since the 9/11 attacks.

Data released Tuesday from the 2010 U.S. Religion Census shows Islam was the fastest growing religion in America in the last 10 years, with 2.6 million living in the U.S. today, up from 1 million in 2000.

Mormonism too saw remarkable growth, with a 45% increase in adherents. It added nearly 2 million members since 2000, bringing their number in the U.S. to 6.1 million.

SSAP- the whole world has Muslims- some more concentrated than others...That is what makes it such a farce when some of these nuts on this site huff and blow about killing all Muslims...

And just like with any other group- a lot of the answer to your question depends on the country/area... I wouldn't go to Libya or Syria or several of those countries even with security...But I know people that work(ed) in countries like Kuwait, Saudi, Turkey, Indonesia that claim they feel no danger- so I would travel there....I think one of the countries Reader2 has a lot of experience with is Egypt...Personally at this time- I probably wouldn't go there either..

But that said- I wouldn't travel in many parts of Mexico either armed or with security or not... And that is because of a Christian (mostly Catholic) population- not Muslims...
