Some pictures from the desert- part 2

If you are having trouble getting the cows down the alley, try turning it around so the arrow points ahead next time. Haha

I may have worded that a little bad. It's not that I don't like him, he just isn't my favorite. He has turned into a very nice bull. If I were to sell him today, I would of used him for 3 years and made $1000.00 on him.

This is a picture of a bull that I purchased in an emergency situation a couple years back. He has turned out to be a pretty good bull. Not my favorite, but gets the job done none the less. This is him, today. He is only used as a spare bull, but has seen action every year. He really puts the...

    Best time of year

I have to ask, where in the world would you crop in that country.  I just traveled North America in 2 minutes. Cotton fields, RA's assortment of critters, and now the mountains. Thanks to everybody who posts on here. Amazing view from up there, and congrats on finishing...

I love coming on here. I have never seen a cotton field in person. Enjoy your fall, and dang, those are some flashy boots. :P

Back home on the ranch September 27, 2013

Good to have you back. I hope that you recover back to your old form. That elite, athletic figure you once were, on the back of your horse, or seat of your ranger, all day long. I can't imagine going through what you have been through. Continue getting better and back to your old self.

Do you like those mineral feeders and how do you hold them down? They seem awful light.

    Late March 2013

I agree, even though we are a long ways from any green like that here, it is still nice to see. We just started melting away all that snow this week. Great Pictures. I am just in the BLACK conversion process, so I still lean a little towards the Brockle faces. I agree with Soapweed on the...

Spring Storm Aftermath !!!! ( My Pictures )

We survived better than some. Our cows had quite good protection from the with alot of bush. The cows may have made out better than us humans.

Spring Storm Aftermath !!!! ( My Pictures )

Ya, I remember you guys had a bad one down south. We are just lucky that most cows kept their legs crossed for us. Only had 2 in storm. Lost one while we stuck on road for six hours, but otherwise we made out alright.

Spring Storm Aftermath !!!! ( My Pictures )

Hard to believe I can impress you with pictures of snow. Yes, I think hay crops should be nice, they shouldn't freeze either, they will be under snow till July.

Spring Storm Aftermath !!!! ( My Pictures )

I've got more to come that people I know took. It was crazy. In our RM alone there are Track-Hoes, CATS, Payloaders, and alot of tractors and snowblowers working overtime. It's tough to get to feed, let alone cows. Most everybody calving. Storm started Wednesday and didn't let up till early...

Spring Storm Aftermath !!!! ( My Pictures )

This is a mile south of our lane. The equipment is digging out two tractors stuck in the road. One ours, the other our neighbors. My two older kids playing on the side of the road where the last picture was took. Our mini-van parked where the two tractors were stuck for two days...

Couple cool pictures from the Internet.

I would consider this as close as I ever get to being a Vegitarian. This pretty much sums up North West Saskatchewan this winter. There is a good chance I will burn more diesel pushing snow than feeding cows this winter.

    February 7 - 14, 2013

Not to be greedy, but seeing as you are done scourgaurding, it would be awful nice if you, or part of your crew, would volunteer to come help a poor old snowed in canuck run his herd through for the same purpose.  Great pictures, loved the storm ones. I would post some of our snow...

    Just a Couple Snap Shots

I have been to busy chasing kids and pushing snow lately. I have been just creeping around here lately. With calving around the corner, I will contribute a little more.

    Just a Couple Snap Shots

The youngest daughter thinks playing hockey would be pretty cool to. Me and and the boy went to a junior hockey game the other night. This is to funny not to share. She fell asleep on the ride home in the dark the other night. Not sure what the shades were for. It was pitch dark. Just...
