So I called up the Captain,
'Please bring me my wine'
He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say...

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
They livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Bring your alibis

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
'Relax,' said the night man,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave!

Ohhh man, that is one of my all time favorites!! Although I think they had something a little bigger than Ranchers.net in mind when they wrote it, it probably fits!

Hey folks, I don't think it's very cool to rub salt in the wounds when someone leaves in a huff or despair.

The thing is you can't leave.... You still get messages way past the leaving. And you can't not register... I tried....
I agree with burnt.....

I didnt get the impression hurley was leaving due to anger or "dispair"
I took it for they were done ...had enough and time to get back to the real world.
I wish hurley well, wish they would stay LOL cuz if you read hurley is about middle of the road as you can get ......Yes they can lean to the left on most issues but they can come over to the right side ....

Have a good one hurley, drop by to say hey and know no mater what no matter what you believe you are always welcome here.

Don't you live in Valley County OT?
42% voted obama 54% voted Mccain
12 point split
Guess it was closer than my county,Dawson
36% obama 60% McCain
24 point split
maybe that's why it seems like I don't see the same responses in my neighborhood that you claim to see.

What about all the other races? Go back historically....Why did Conrad Burns get told to kick his lunch bucket down the road? How come Montana has two DEMOCRAT Senators? And the majority of State offices are now held by Democrats? Even all the pollsters and Montana State University call Montana a "purple" state anymore....

Our county even voted by about a 3 to 1 margin to do away with partisan races in all local, city, county races....

lol menmapa you hold a grudge a long time and never fail to live up to your character.

As a matter of fact, I tell people about PB and to a person, they cannot believe I waste my time. That includes both conservatives and liberals. And it boils down to the birfer nonsense and hypo's mindless drivel that they wouldn't waste their time with. And condoning of Mike's racism by silence.

Now that hypo and his band of cheerleaders are silencing all debate and he singlehandedly has turned PB into a cesspool of crappy Internet gossip and propaganda, I expect I will soon depart as well.

And I know that will be a great day for you hopaleg aka memanpa.

But it will be amusing to watch you guys talk to yourselves and as OT says, pat yourselves on your backs about how you're saving America from the devil right here in PB.

Well really...I mean, what are they gonna do when they don't have anybody to bust on?

Alice

Good luck hurley.

Don't be afraid to drop in on us from time to time. I'll remember you.

Until better times! Take care

She can call ME any thing she wants to but to desicrate someone else is just not right!!

And you say that what I said it is not called for????????????????????????????

Liberals have a pretty big record of quitting when things get tough.

When discussions get to tough!

When they get pregnant they abort!

When their countries need them to fight they run!

When they realize they can get welfare instead of working!

When Obama leaves them with no factually argument!

When did memanpa die? Why a hero?

I called you memanpa because some claim that you are he resurrected after he left the forum.

If he is someone you know and is dead, my condolences.

He's shooting BullPuckey again Reader--- He screwed up a couple of times and forgot- and came back as memanpa (rose from the dead :???: ) after this supposed death-- and I know he and about a dozen other names were all posting from the same site....
Either he lives in a commune- or he has many false identities.....

You can't believe a word it says....

So, why do posters leave in a big huff with much fanfare and commotion? Why not just quietly not post for awhile, sleep on their decision for a night or two, and not burn any bridges that they might possibly wish to cross again in the future? I guess it just isn't as dramatic.

Liberals are a little slower than the average person, it takes them a couple times to get it right.

Example: When Kolan was Lulu she made a big huff about how she was leaving and boo hooed about it.

But the second time when she left as Kolan she got it right and just left, even though she did erase a bunch of her messages first, but she still did it with out grandstanding.

So see there is hope for liberals eventually they may do the right thing, just never know how long it will take them to do it!

Not only no but absolutely not. Palin's case was a classic case of servant leadership. You likely don't understand the concept. Talk to citizens of Alaska to understand what was going on and why? Or read the media and stay confused.
