Not The Weekend I Expected

Was gone for a couple of days. Best wishes and prayers for a speedy and full recovery Corey. A close friend had a bout with prostate cancer this winter and is on the mend.
Will expect to see you in Williams Lake in August.

Too bad! NR we relate to that big C. It is a rough haul, but my pap always said great sailers arn't made in the bathtub. I always says "who want to be a sailer anyway!" We'll be praying for you. If we can help in any other way....................

Hey everyone! thanks for all your support and well wishes, dr. says I'm making a good recovery, they've unhooked all those pain in the butt tubes and are letting me eat again (Jello never tasted do good!) Should be able to go home in a few days.

Thats bad luck NR,hate to hear you in that kinda fight, but I suspect you will be huntin this fall..................good luck

Geez, last week I checked in to read Soapweed's "obituary" and this week I check in and Northern Rancher is on his sick bed. I need to check in more often. Hope you have a quick recovery. Cowboy up, I thought you were tougher than that.

NR haven't been on here much lately glad to hear you are getting better. Get your health back and everything else will take care of it's self. Will be thinking of you.

Hey NR get better soon and listen to what those doctors tell you as well ...I have you penciled in as taking over coaches corner when Don Cherry retires .So take care of yourself and slow it down for a litttle while...Oh of course minus those flashy suits of his.. :-) ...

What kind of uniform for Coaches Corner would work for NR?

Wool pants, denim shirt and riding boots with spurs. :???:

Well I got discharged this A'M-twenty pounds lighter and 30 belly staples richer for the experience-I can't say enough about thje great nurses and Dr's I had-they made it as good a situation as it could be. Some things I want to share-NEVER EVER underestimate the sheer joy and wonder of being able to have food to chew-eight days living off a I'V taught me that-I've taken drooling to new levels dreaming about my next steak. Now to get clinical-Fear Not the penile catheter there are worse things haveing a hose shoved down my nose into my belly taught me that-the day it got out of whack and we had to yank it out and stick it back in will be etched forever in my memory. Don't wait till tomorrow or next summer or whenever to do things with your family-it is driving me crazy having to miss the Sask. Finals and looks not great for Farmington-I'm glad I went when I could before this blindside caught me. On the rodfeo front Ty is 7-7 so far this weekend-he won the Novice in Meadow Lake, the Bareback in Biggar and second in the Saddle Bronc in Biggar. He got on a few exhibition horses just for fun too. Megan kept printing off everybodys kind words you have no idea how much they meant to Shauna, the kids and I.
