If you are having trouble getting the cows down the alley, try turning it around so the arrow points ahead next time. Haha

    Bred cow prices?

Yes, it was quite the sale. I sat at a dispersal the next saturday and watched some nice 2nd, 3rd, and 4th calvers go from about $2450 to $2200.

I may have worded that a little bad. It's not that I don't like him, he just isn't my favorite. He has turned into a very nice bull. If I were to sell him today, I would of used him for 3 years and made $1000.00 on him.

This is a picture of a bull that I purchased in an emergency situation a couple years back. He has turned out to be a pretty good bull. Not my favorite, but gets the job done none the less. This is him, today. He is only used as a spare bull, but has seen action every year. He really puts the...

    Annual bull buying pilgrimage

We ran a Connealy Thunder Bull that we purchased from some fellow contributors on here last spring, so I had better be nice, hey CA.  I will be able to tell you in a couple weeks how he calves because he bred all our heifers and a couple cows. I am really happy with how he...

Other happenings on our outfit of late

That's awesome. I get to be Kosmo sometime around march. My sister inlaw is expecting twins as well. I am not sure if I am happier that I get to be an uncle twice in one day or if its the fact that I am just the uncle. Twins seem like alot of work, but most people that have them just say they...

I have to ask, where in the world would you crop in that country.  I just traveled North America in 2 minutes. Cotton fields, RA's assortment of critters, and now the mountains. Thanks to everybody who posts on here. Amazing view from up there, and congrats on finishing...

Back home on the ranch September 27, 2013

Good to have you back. I hope that you recover back to your old form. That elite, athletic figure you once were, on the back of your horse, or seat of your ranger, all day long. I can't imagine going through what you have been through. Continue getting better and back to your old self.
