    Recent happenings.

I got busy around here again lately. But not too busy to snap a few shots. Here are a few pictures from the recent past. Kids and a batch of cats playing on the hay. A friends cake wagon. Dusty tap's hanging in his barn. The rest are several from a frosty morning.

    Another day at the Office..pics

That is a very nice location you have to work livestock Jassy. I could sure stand that here. We seem to be out in the wind no matter where we are set up. Great pictures of the your day. We got that job done a couple weeks ago also. With mileage it came out to an even 3 dollars/calf to get them...

    Frosty Pics

And here I thought we were the only ones around with hay of that vintage. :) Your stock look as though they could handle anything that was thrown against them. :!:

    Some pictures from here.

I see you have some snow down there. It is "flurrying" here, but we are brown so far. The cattle look to be well bred and in nice condition. I really like the look of those coming two's.

Some photos from my folks' winter range

Those are some very nice pictures of some country that I really like TTB. I would really like to have some range like that to calve cows in. They could take quite a storm and get by fine. I bet last winter at this time that country looked a lot different than it does now. Did they have to pull...

Let's Hope I get this right.

Everything is relative Kola. I remember going through central Nebraska years ago, and seeing black looking haybales in a field. I mentioned to someone how they looked so melted down, and they said they were put up that year. I am not kidding you that a couple years ago I fed some hay...

Let's Hope I get this right.

These horses are 7 or possibly 8 years old. They are not related at all, and they both came from Canada as colts. We bought them 2 and a half years ago. I do not have them tied together, but I have used a short rope with snaps on it to tie their hind ends together when I am hooking them up...

The same to you Troy. It is nice to hear from you too.

Let's Hope I get this right.

I haven't posted pictures in quite a while. I hope I can get it done. This one is for Oldtimer. You can see this hay has seen a few years go by. I hope it stays that way too. It is good insurance. This cow is not hurting too badly either! Nothing but grass, water, and salt so far. Here...

    Saturday pictures, June 30, 2007

Good photos Soapweed. Things still look pretty green down your way, but this heat will change that I bet. Your escapee pictures brought to mind my own escapee this morning. I got done baling some hay mid-morning, and had the great news that we had a bull on the loose. So I loaded my horse and...

    June 22 pictures

Things are looking mighty fine in your area CC. I wouldn't bet on the heifer breeding either, but Aaron raises a good point. You don't ever lose much on running a calf over to a yearling. I see you are getting good with the camera.

Great eye for a photo. You must be one who notices the fine things in life.

It just occurred to me I hadn't taken a single photo today

I guess it is possible to keep taking better and better pictures. You have done that here Soap. Hat's off to ya'.

Another nice June day so far.

Branded a few late calves, then moved some two year old heifers and their calves to fresh pasture. All the pastures look great, but we need to keep them moving on their rotation anyway. Eating some leftover grain after I took the horse out that I wanted. Coming down the slope with them...
