Heard on the news intended wheat seeding acres lowest since 1973. They said the last time it was this low a lot of the famers wasn't born or at least not farming yet. Well I did it!! I sold all my 2004 calves, even my replacement Hfrs. I thought long and hard and just couldn't turn down $750.00 for a replacement hfr that wouldn't give me a calf till the fall of 2006!! I HOPE I DID THE RIGHT THING, BUT JUST DOSEN'T MATTER ANYMORE AS IT IS DONE. :-)

I have some 2004 calves left. Should I sell before Mar 7? What is the market going to do. Some say down big time and others say not much impact. What do you think Oldtimer? Anybody else have a idea, including our Canadian friends? :???:

Can anyone update me on the border opening? I was at a meeting today and was told they are not going to open it at all. I had heard they are going to open to 30 months and under. Been looking around on this new fangled outfit and can't find much new news??
