Hey wouldn't that of been fun for you and Haymaker to end up in the same hospital room?

You with a hose up your nose and him with a rat up his a---

Take care and get well quick :D

It was pretty sweet to wake up at 4'00 A'M after a few hours of uninterrupted sleep and look out the window at a bunch of saddle horses instead of city traffic-went for a walk barefoot in the grass-life is pretty darn good-I'm not in tal;l cotton more like thick dandilions though lol.

I was in Warman on the weekend, and thought I might see you and your herd. Sorry to hear your feeling tough, but I am sure you will get serious and take a good run at feeling better. Keep thinking good thoughts and stay tough. Don't forget to tell us how things are going. There is quite a few of us that like to keep track of you and the clan. Best wishes...........the Phantom.

I am so glad to hear that you are home NR. You feel so much better when your are in your own "nest".
I hope they got everything and you kick cancers butt..That is something that plagues my family as well and it seems like a never ending saga.

Good luck and prayers are with all of you.

Hey Phantom are we on for Calgary this year-I'm trying to get Ty set up for the 6-8. I really enjoyed just hanging out at the buck chutes that morning with you. I hear the clown in Warmen was pretty good this year-had my nurses talking about him anyway.

Just got back to the camp. Been setting up chutes. Couple more days and we should have it workable. First outdoor rodeo since sometime in the 70's. Plan to be in calgary after the first weekend. I should have time to continue with your education. Always appreciate sharing my abundance of knowledge. In fact I'm looking forward to it.

Wishing you all the best NRancher. I'm overdue for another scoping myself, probably need to get it scheduled.

Sounds good Phantom-Ty was telling me he had a nightmare that he got another reride and they ran in the 'Stud' for him lol. I told him that's a dream come true lol.

My guts had been bad for a bit but I had a scope scheduled for the 16th and was just toughing it out. On Wednesday I felt something give while I was laughing - I thought I had just pulled a muscle. Thursday wasn't good and Friday I didn't head to finals - instead I went to emergency and was ambulanced to Saskatoon. On Saturday they operated and found my large intestine had ruptered due to a blockage which was cancerous. Ty won the saddle in bare backand saddle bronc but I missed it. doing not too bad now considering. Haven't ate for 7 days. YIKES! Megan will keep you posted.

I haven't been on Ranchers.net for quite awhile, look what I missed. I'm sooooo sorry Cory and I am glad you are on the mend. Is all the cancer gone? Please keep us informed, our prayers are with you and your family. I'm glad Ty is doing so well.

I've been gone for a while-take my eye off y'all and look what happens!
I've been fighting colon cancer myself-- started Dec 01,09 They've cut out two chemicals and have cut the treatment down to every other week.
Been there on the food deal..The first cup of real tea nearly made me swoon! First food was a real experance-I've never been hungry before in my life.
Get well soon,mind the Drs.
Y'all go get checked out! If I'd done that 5 years ago,it'd been like picking a fat tick off a dog.. instead of this ordeal.
What I can tell you is "Let go and let God" that's the only way I can handle this.
