I too have to agree with the masses. Only time i ever had one get up was on a mineral deficiency after switching water wells one time. Hauled alot of feed to them on certain occasions, but not sure i remember one getting up at all after being down more than a couple days. It's never easy to...

We really like the angus Hereford cross. It is what the majority of our commercial calves are. Just need to figure out the weaknesses with what you have already and find a bull to improve on them.

Shouldn't be hard to find bulls to sell, just open the breed magazines and pick the ones with the fancy pictures :wink:

If you are buying the cows at canner prices then run the bulls in the spring for 90 days and can the opens.. shouldn't be out much if they produce good calves. Or breed for 120 days and when you want to cut off calving in the spring just sell what hasn't calved as bred cows... can sometimes get...

we have a CASE on ( same as trimble) our seeding tractor. It has the ez steer thing on it too. seems to work well. Questions about how well it would worl on a high clearance sprayer at 17 MPH is another question.
