.those pictures are real..the storm went through the Seven Persons' Bow Island area which is south of Medicine Hat last August...My brother in law who lives in the area lost all of his crops to hail and wind...in a year when grain was actually worth something
Thanks guys and gals... always heard how much cheaper ivomec was below the border...I'll stop and talk to my vet since he is on the way...guess we'll decide when were down there...going down through Havre do a circle and then back across at Kingsgate...looking forward to it.
We are planning a family holiday down in Montana... thinking about buying some ivomec... what are the things we should know about purchasing and bringing it back across the border?
...i have to agree with you oldtimer...some farmers broke some land up here in eastern alberta that should have been left for cows...they did ok with a govt program called grip...but when the program ended so did their farming...
...rkaiser...it does make you wonder where the money goes...oh i think i know...the bureaucrats need their share of the farm too  well i feel kind of bad for you rkaiser as my cheque was 358.78... does that mean i might have to pay some back for overpayment :o
...you are right sandy ...the story leaves out the important factor as...who sold the cattle at the sale barn...i feed purchased calves myself...so for the feedlot owner to not to have realized these animals had ccia tags while in his lot ...seems highly improbable...
...i guess this proves one thing the sheriff in s.d. must be related to someone from montana... following the lead back from the packing plant must be difficult     you can understand now how they never find osama...
...one thing you are right about ot...even the usda doctors cannot understand you have your own native case of bse...it is a wonder why you guys would even allow humans in to your country with all thoses diseases and such...
...now i can understand how custer felt some 100 plus years ago...sitting bull is on the east side of river...no he is on the west side of the river...oh i give up...those illegal indians i don't no where there at... oldtimer
...here in alberta every animal that goes through the sale barn would have been checked for brands and that it had a cfia tag...if there is not a tag the animal is tagged at the owner's expense...i don't how your system exactly down there works but the brand inspector will not release the cheque...
...oldtimer...if they were young animals the system would know where they came from...i t is really hard to imagine how some canadian feeders could go through a sales barn down there without someone noticing...i really don't understand how this story would help your cattle orgs reputation...in...
...just another one of those redtape deals ot...you know that as much as anyone... its either open the border to otm's or not...this way they can play political games just like your org...by the way your guys would have lots of ammuntion to stop this silly rule but i'll let you guys figure out...
...there lies the battle ground bmr...most farmers in sask and man want to keep the board ...here in alta where we have been closer to alternative marketing the farmers no longer want the board expect the peace river producers...why would that be...
...then we go to our own industry the...
