    Hoodoo Charolais

From what I hear they are real good cattle. I would imagine that they are middle of the road kind of cattle. Depending on what you want to know, I might be able to help some. If I can't and you have some serious inquirys, I'll give you a couple of phone numbers of two breeders who buy cows from...

    grafting calves i need help

I have had it work immeditely and sometimes a litttle longer. 4-12 hrs. Any longer than that and I will try something different. Something that I do, after I put the hide on the calf. Is to tie the live calf down where her dead calf was laying. I let her mother it for awhile before I let the...

Hey soapweed, thought this would bring a smile to all

That song is on a great CD.....with Tom Rush singing songs similar to that one. He sings a song called "The Little Black Steer" that is pretty good. He and Ian Tyson played together or sang each others music along time a go.

    Cows and cowboys

[quote="Jinglebob" Had a tarentaise who would take the kids or anyone else and for some reason had her in the corral. We didn't realise it at thye time, how bad she was. It is called getting "That run down feeling" and drinking "GERITOL" doesn't help!

    My adventures in Nevada

I was workin for an outfit across the MT. line one fall. We had an early storm blow a bunch of cattle off the forest down to the river. Four outfits cattle were mixed up. We got there in the morning to straighten it up and the boss and his wife unloaded their horses tightened their cinches and...

    Cows and cowboys

I'm sure for what you are doing you need something with a good front-end. I don't think that I have heard of a Tuscon tree, I am familiar with the Modified Association, Syd Special and a Will James. I broke down and had a Wade built after riding a Modified Association for years. That Wade leaks...

Any place left to gather cattle?

There-in lies the problem, azcowpuncher. I have alot of ropes but I don't seem to have any catch ropes! I think they must be miss ropes instead.

    Red Angus bull- Major Leauge

Shawn I don't think you look dumb at all, just good sense in asking about the bull ahead of time. Look for a son of Julian B-571, for the type of females you want.

    WOOOOPAAA

Azcowpuncher, If you and Jerry should happen to end up this far North(Cody), I have plenty of bunk space. You are welcome anytime for that matter. Cold beer in the fridge. Take a picture of the leggins that you made Jerry and post it, if it isn't to much trouble. rross

azcowpuncher, Any idea what Claude Dallas is doing now? I hope he is enjoying life. I always had a certain appreciation for his lifestyle and what he did.

    Making a watering tank?

Unless it has steel side walls (use a sawsall), a good sharp knife and some dish soap will do it. Far quicker and easier than a chainsaw. I tamp dirt up to the bead and then use several bags of sack-crete to seal the bottom. You also can use betonite if you don't want mess with concrete.

    Practice Night

I was wondering what the boys were up to this weekend. Sounds like they got some good practice in.
