    MsSage

Would you please remove the upside down flag being used as your avator? You seem like a patriotic person and I'm sure you have your reasons for doing it, but there is NO good reason to disrespect our flag.

    Anybody Snowed In?

The sun's not up yet, but from what I can see it doesn't look like we got more than a couple inches of snow overnight. It's supposed to snow and blow through the day so we'll see what happens. From what I can tell, maybe some of you folks to the South got dumped on a little more.

    Case Tractor Question

I have an old orange 1270 and I broke the key off today. Does anyone know if those old case tractors are keyed alike? I'll probably have to get a new switch, but there won't be anyplace open until Tuesday for that.

    How does this pay?

Commercial black baldie two year old heifer pairs sold for $1,700 in St. Onge, SD on Friday. Pairs are pretty hot around here right now. Broken mouth pairs will bring $1,000+ with younger pairs higher, on up to $1,500-$1,700 for heifer pairs. I don't understand how that makes sense at all...

    Meeting with Credit Card Companies

The news this week talked about President Obama meeting with officials from credit card companies. Why is it that the President of the United States has to personally hold a meeting to negotiate how credit card companies set their rates and terms? I would think his personal time and attention...

    Market Links on Main Page

Does anyone else miss the links to Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures on the Ranchers.net market page? It used to be pretty handy to check the markets, but evidently the CME switched things up and the links don't give the summary info handily any more.

    Hey Faster Horses

or are you going to change your handle now that you're a "quad momma" :) :) Do you know much about Pannell Angus and Neiman 77 Ranch that are selling bulls in Belle Fourche next week? I'm not much of an expert on bloodlines, but it looks like Neiman's especially have some decent functional...

    Weather Variety

How's this? Extreme fire danger today. Blizzard watch for Monday and Tuesday. You don't often see those two combinations in a 48 hour period. Monday and Tuesday could be down right nasty, but at least we don't have the sub-zero temps any more.

    Frozen Tongue

This is a first for me. I just pulled a calf. When I found the heifer this morning, the feet and nose were out and of course the tongue was sticking out. The calf is okay, but it doesn't have any tongue control yet. It just hangs out of his mouth about three inches. It wasn't solid, but...

    MADE WHERE??

I'm ususally a "Buy American" type of person, but also a "price-conscious" shopper. Recently on some quick trips through the store I found some surprises when I looked at my products at home. Noodles (can't remember the brand name) made in Mexico. Rasberry Preserves made in Egypt. This was...
