THOUGHTS ON WIND ENERGY by Steve Moreland, June 12, 2016

Nice post Soapweed. Another thing you don't here the windmill farms talking about is the Number of Bats (800,000 ) and Birds (500,000) that are killed annually by wind turbines. That's a lot of mosquitoes not getting eaten.

    Calf Prices! WOW!!!

The past couple weeks we have taken 6 older kill cows to the stockyards in western Oregon. they ranged from $ .95 to $ 1.07 per/lb cows ranged from 1100 lbs to 1700 lbs. that is the highest we have ever seen it here in the valley. What does that make ground beef worth.

    Feeding Lentils

Thanks BMR They are not moldy or have any treatment on them. They were food grade that came through a food bank that wanted to get rid of them.

    Feeding Lentils

Has anyone ever fed Lentils. We were offered 1500 lbs of Lentils that were past an expiration date, and were wondering if it has any negative effect on cattle. I am not sure if they will even eat it. Thanks

    disk hay cutter

We have a Kuhn GMD 700 3pt it has 7 disc's and cuts 9ft +. we have had it for over six years and it cuts through anything ( drawback no conditioner ) Like Denny said Kuhn and Taarup were on the cutting edge of disc mowers no pun intended and they did build them for other companies.
